MAS Financial Investor Scheme (FIS)
In an attempt to boost the country’s economy and its importance as a centre for wealth management, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), together with the Singapore Government, has developed a new scheme called the Financial Investor Scheme to encourage foreigners interested in living in Singapore to invest in the country. This is the perfect pathway to Singapore Permanent Residency if you meet the criteria for the following options:
The applicant shall place and maintain at least SGD 5 million of financial assets with a financial institution regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
The applicant shall place and maintain at least SGD 5 million of assets in Singapore. This should comprise of financial assets of not less than SGD 3 million and one Sentosa Cove Bungalow.
Under this Financial Investor Scheme, applicants are able to include their immediate family members, comprising of spouse and unmarried children below 21 years in the same application.
