What is MTP (MicroTechPlating)?
MTP is an electrolytic process utilizing a chromic acid based electrolyte. The part is made the cathode and, with the passage of a DC current via lead anodes, chromium metal builds on the component surface.  By using platenised titanium as electrode we create a very homogeny and uniform chrome deposit, that has a accurate within 1 micron. ACT is able to cover also the very narrow runner and gating areas due to high current pulse plating. The chrome deposit of ACT so far the best solution for the so called "green compound" in the semi-conductor industry! The adhesive and hardness of the chrome can double the life span of the molding parts! ACT carefully select the chemicals for the best results!  De-chrome and re-chrome can be done without any damage or deformation of the parts.
