ACT / Advanced Chrome Technology Pte Ltd
Plating, Electroplating, Hard Chrome
What is MTP (MicroTechPlating)?
MTP is an electrolytic process utilizing a chromic acid based electrolyte. The part is made the cathode and, with the passage of a DC current via lead anodes, chromium metal builds on the component surface. By using platenised titanium as electrode we create a very homogeny and uniform chrome deposit, that has a accurate within 1 micron. ACT is able to cover also the very narrow runner and gating areas due to high current pulse plating. The chrome deposit of ACT so far the best solution for the so called "green compound" in the semi-conductor industry! The adhesive and hardness of the chrome can double the life span of the molding parts! ACT carefully select the chemicals for the best results! De-chrome and re-chrome can be done without any damage or deformation of the parts.
Surface engineering is a hot topic these days, with applications throughout a wide range of industrial sectors. Engineering surface treatments and coatings can bring specialist properties of corrosion and wear resistance, without compromising the characteristics of the substrate or base metal. Many new processes are emerging, their innovations and developments sometimes outpacing any proven industrial demand or performance demonstration. ACT’s tradition of high quality is backed up by testing of RoHS compliant as per our specifications.
