Write a reviewStudio_in_connection, established in 2001, is the private ceramic studio of Master Potter / Ceramic Artist Lim Hua Choon where he creates his works, refines his art and teaches students. The studio is fully equipped with throwing wheels, slab machine and a gas-fired kiln. Students start by learning the skills required for pottery/ceramic work and then have freedom to create any art pieces. Lim Hua Choon is very active in the community ceramic art scene and leads a group of enthusiastic like-minded artists through activities like - the Singapore Whampoa Ceramic Club where he is the current Chairman, - Clay connection, a collaborative effort with an Ipoh, Malaysia studio with a wood-fire kiln, - Clay in connection Exhibition, an annual charity pottery exhibition event since 2011, where works of Lim Hua Choon's students are exhibited and sold at Tan Tock Seng Hospital Attrium to raise funds for the hospital's Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund.
